A paper on the transfer of copyrights was presented within the scope of the Copyright Law Academy project organized by the Social Innovation Agency operating within the Konya Metropolitan Municipality. In this context, the relevant provisions of the Law on Intellectual and Artistic Works and the Turkish Code of Obligations were discussed. 

Copyright can be subject to transfer through contracts as a financial intangible property. For this reason, the subject has been handled from the perspective of contract law, and the cases of universal succession have been excluded from the scope. 

It should be added that license agreements have also been addressed, and the establishment, scope, provisions and consequences of such agreements have been determined.
