Tree Planting Event Held as Part of National Afforestation Day on November 11

Prof. Dr. Ahmet Şahbaz, Dean of our Faculty, participated in a tree planting event organized on the occasion of National Afforestation Day on November 11, hosted by Akören District Governor İsa Bertan. Students from our Department of Political Science and Public Administration also took part in the event, contributing to the promotion of environmental awareness and the expansion of green spaces. The program offered students an opportunity to support nature while strengthening their sense of social responsibility. This afforestation activity was recognized as an important step toward fostering a sustainable environmental mindset.
