Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Aydın, a faculty member of our Civil Engineering Department and a Principal Member of the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA), attended the "TÜBA Environment, Biodiversity, and Climate Change Working Group" meeting hosted by Yıldız Technical University on February 17, 2026.

Serving as the Working Group Coordinator, our esteemed professor delivered a comprehensive evaluation presentation regarding the activities of 2025. Furthermore, decisions were made during the meeting regarding scientific activities, strategic collaborations, and sustainability-focused action plans to be carried out in 2026. We congratulate our professor, who successfully represents our faculty's "sustainable future" vision at the level of national science policies and makes significant contributions to scientific productivity, and we wish him continued success in his endeavors.
