As Necmettin Erbakan University Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, our students collected plastic bags and plastic cups within the scope of Volunteering Studies course, and left the food and bread scraps in various parts of the Köyceğiz Campus for feeding stray animals. Plastic wastes, in which substances such as petroleum and coal are used in their production, take many years to dissolve in nature, and the damage they cause to the environment disrupts the balance of the ecosystem. We aimed to contribute to the reduction of solid waste production by recycling and reusing plastic waste, and to raise environmental awareness in our students about recycling.
