WASTE MINIMIZATION

The most important principle of waste management is to minimize waste at its source. For this purpose, trainings are given to the personnel related to the work to be carried out by EKK and necessary warnings are given during the in-unit audits. Domestic wastes, packaging wastes and hazardous wastes are collected separately from medical wastes at the source and are prevented from mixing with medical wastes. Wastes that can be recycled (paper, plastic, glass, metal) are collected separately and prevented from mixing with other wastes. Delivery period of medical waste: Monday-Wednesday-Friday.
