As part of the Volunteering Studies course, the volunteer activity titled “A Bowl of Love,” carried out by the Artı Bir Adım Student Group under the supervision of Dr. Lecturer Aliye ÇAYIR, was successfully completed. Implemented in collaboration with the Sağlık İçin El Ele Student Community, the event presented a strong example of social solidarity and volunteer awareness. In this meaningful initiative, animal friends struggling to survive on the streets were not forgotten; food supplies provided by students were delivered to stray animals, contributing to the alleviation of feeding problems, especially during the winter months. In addition, birdhouses were prepared to ensure that birds could safely shelter in cold weather and were hung on trees in suitable areas. The “A Bowl of Love” activity aimed not only to support the basic needs of animals but also to strengthen students’ sense of social responsibility, empathy, and volunteerism. By increasing sensitivity toward nature and living beings, this initiative once again demonstrated that small steps can create big differences. The Artı Bir Adım Student Group and the Sağlık İçin El Ele Student Community will continue to raise awareness and spread kindness through similar volunteer projects that contribute to society and the environment.
