World Cancer Day is commemorated every year on February 4 to raise awareness about cancer, ensure the right fight against cancer, and emphasize the importance of early diagnosis. According to Globocan data, it is seen that there is an increase in the incidence of cancer all over the world and the global cancer burden is increasing. Everyone has important responsibilities in reducing the global burden of cancer, greater equality in access to care and treatment, and maintaining the priority of cancer control in the world health and development agenda. So the theme for this year's World Cancer Day is “Close the Care Gap” to raise awareness of this vital equity gap that affects almost everyone in high-, low- and middle-income countries. Close the cancer care gap for a cancer-free world on February 4, World Cancer Day. “Create a cancer-free future. Now is the time to act.” DEPARTMENT OF INTERNAL DISEASES NURSING.
