The United Nations General Assembly signed the Convention on the Rights of the Child on 20 November 1989. Every year, 20 November is celebrated as "World Children's Rights Day". World Children's Rights Day was celebrated together with Necmettin Erbakan University, the Faculty of Nursing, Hand in Hand for Health Student Community, and the Department of Child Health and Diseases Nursing. The World Children's Rights Day celebration was held on November 20, 2023, with the participation of Martyr Ömer Halis Demir İmam Hatip Secondary School students and teachers.
