The World Children's Rights Day Event was held by the Faculty of Nursing, Department of Child Health and Diseases Nursing, and the students of the Hand in Hand for Health Community on November 20, November 21, 2024, at Fatih Sultan Mehmet Primary School with the participation of 4th grade students. At the event, a presentation was made on what World Children's Rights are, when they were declared, what children's rights are, and the importance of these rights. Then, the children were given a model airplane and they built the airplane together. A few symbols from the Children's Rights they learned were written on the wings of the airplanes with colored pencils and they were helped to fly the airplanes. The event allowed the children to learn while having fun.
