As the Department of Mathematics and Computer Sciences of our Faculty of Science, we continue to contribute to the future not only with academic studies but also with activities that create social awareness.

In this context, we organized an environmental activity with primary and secondary school children in order to support the development of individuals who are sensitive to nature. The activity included activities that raise awareness about nature, such as planting saplings and watering trees. While the importance of protecting nature was explained to the children, their learning was supported by ensuring that they directly participated in the application.

We believe that disciplines based on analytical thinking, such as mathematics and computer science, should be integrated with life and nature. Instilling a love of nature at an early age is as important as science for the conscious individuals of the future.

We were happy to meet with children at this meaningful activity and have an educational and enjoyable experience.
