Within the scope of May 17th World Hypertension Day, a hypertension screening event was organized by the 1st year Nursing Department students in front of Ahmet Cengiz Engineering Faculty. During the event, blood pressure measurements of students and staff were made and the data obtained were recorded. Individuals who were found to be at risk of high blood pressure were directed to the necessary health institutions. In addition, participants were informed about the causes, symptoms and control methods of hypertension and awareness of the disease was raised.
