The increase in the world population has caused unconscious consumption of natural resources and increased the amount of waste. For this reason, strategies have been developed for the recycling process of wastes and regulations have been established in Turkey as well as in the rest of the world. A panel on "Zero Waste for a Green and Blue World" was organized by the Zero Waste Commission of Necmettin Erbakan University Faculty of Nursing in order to contribute to the worldwide zero waste movement and raise the awareness of our students. Within the scope of the panel, Atiksan Recycling Environmental Engineer Mehmet Yıldırım GÜNDÜZ and Necmettin Erbakan University Environmental Engineer Emine Kübra ŞENER gave information to 136 students participating in the panel about zero waste movement, zero waste studies carried out in Turkey, Konya and our university, and recycling.
